When I was a kid we didn’t have TV and by the time we got one I enjoyed playing outside more than watching TV inside. I’ve never had much fondness for commercials, who likes watching lies that you don’t even want to know about.
When traveling the first thing I do is turn on the TV and see what life is like for viewers. It only takes watching a few minutes of any of the 24/7 news channels to realize that it has not improved.
Today when I got the chance to see VT on youtube I was excited, until I clicked on a few channels to watch the advertisements. I realized that viewers are living in a fake world filled with fake everything. No wonder why we collectively elected a fake president.
Looking into this portal of non-information can make you seasick after viewing what america wakes up to.
Instead of watching any TV yesterday we hosted about 20 volunteers from the Seattle area who came to volunteer at the farm. We cooked them lunch and they helped us plant a quarter acre of yams and weed an acre of garlic. they brought us forward by several weeks.
Fortunately youtube charges for TV so just don’t pay them for it and keep your brain healthy.
